Unitopia

Our six-woman band, Unitopia, began as an excuse to wear unicorn horns, make music, and celebrate unappreciated occasions, like mammograms, colonoscopies, vaccinations, and finding lost socks. It was great fun until one (not saying who) believed we weren’t taking ourselves seriously. She wasn’t wrong, but we weren’t going to give up the glitter dance and prance.

Serious One chose not to stay, so we sent her away with a sweet ukulele and harmonica tune. We did let her keep her pretty unicorn horn, because Unitopians celebrate all people and beliefs, and we secretly hoped she might still prance in private.
